Team Awards

The end of the Alderwood Teddy Bares regular season was celebrated on June 26 with the return of our annual BBQ get together. Big thanks go out to Liz Canrinus who stepped in to host the event when we needed to make a change at the last minute. The weather cooperated with a break in the rain so that we could all hang out in the backyard. The event marked the return of our “annual” awards which have been on hiatus since the 2018/2019 swim year. The 2023/2024 awards recipients are:

A different kind of winner…

Lee Shimano and Dave Jackman attended the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame’s wine & cheese event in late April. Lee WON! Well…she won the only door prize of the evening at least — 4 TFC tickets!
